Darcie Kinnaird

BSc BVMS GradDipEd

I'm a 2018 Murdoch University graduate (of the BVMS variety) and spent my first year in practice at Murdoch completing an internship in anaesthesia and analgesia. Since then I have continued study within this field, obtaining my memberships in anaesthesia and analgesia this year. After moving back to Adelaide in 2020 and spending two years in emergency and critical care, I now split my time between a GP role, teaching the vet nursing students at TAFE SA, and providing CPD to in practice vets and nurses via my own business KAAE. While I greatly enjoy clinical practice I also love my downtime. I have two cats, Rizz a foster-fail from the RSPCA, and Fidget, a kitten born early in the 2020 kitten season who I hand reared (with some lessons in “how to cat” thanks to Rizz!) and am a competitive powerlifter!
