Jasmine Feeney

Jasmine gained a passion for veterinary nursing working as a Junior Veterinary Assistant while still attending school. Over the last 20 years she has worked in small animal specialist medicine practice at Sydney University, and small animal general practice in both nursing and management capacities.

With a range of experience across referral and general practice, Jasmine has delivered lectures and workshops both throughout Australia and internationally with an emphasis on clinical veterinary nursing skills and knowledge. She has been published in the Australian Veterinary Nurses Journal, and contributed to the ASAV Standards of Care – Anaesthesia Guidelines for Dogs and Cats.
Jasmine completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2002, obtained and maintained accreditation through the VNCA since January 2006, gained a Diploma in Critical Care and Emergency Nursing in 2007 and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2011.

Jasmine’s passion for clinical excellence led her to join Animal Industries Resource Centre/Crampton Consulting Group as a training consultant and has spent the last 14 years in this position. Jasmine has volunteered for the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia since 2008 and has held a position on the Board for the past 4 years, she is the current Vice President.
