Dr Linda Horspool

Linda received her veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School, UK, in 1988. She completed a PhD program in equine pharmacology at the same university in 1992. She is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (ECVPT) and a RCVS recognized specialist in pharmacology and toxicology. She spent six years in mixed and companion animal practice in the UK and Hong Kong and a year teaching veterinary pharmacology in the UK and Zambia before taking her current role in the animal health industry in 1999. Linda has published more than 90 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters as well as reviewing articles for several journals. She is a past president of the ECVPT. She is a director of scientific marketing affairs for the global companion animal business of MSD Animal Health, providing technical support globally for a range of products including Caninsulin®.
