Peter Bennett


Peter is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and after 10 years in general practice undertook training in Small Animal Medicine and gained Fellowship of ANZCVS and Diplomate status from ACVIM. He then spent nearly four years on Faculty at Purdue University, Indiana USA working in the Oncology program leading to attaining Diplomate status from ACVIM in this area.

He returned to Melbourne where he was a found of the Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre. Peter has provided continuing education since 2001 locally, nationally and internationally. He has run distance education programs for the Centre for Veterinary Education and the Massey MVM program since 2003.

In 2012 he moved to the University of Sydney where he is now an Associate Professor in Oncology and Small Animal Medicine. Peter has worked to continue the growth of knowledge in Oncology in the veterinarians of Australasia.
