Richard L’Estrange

BVSc MANZCVS (Pharmacology)

Richard L’Estrange is a 1987 graduate of the University of Queensland. He worked in mixed and small animal practices in South-East QLD and the UK before purchasing a Small Animal practice in Brisbane in 1996. Membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Pharmacology was achieved in 2008, which after 22 years of general practice triggered an entry into Industry in February 2010 as a Technical Services Veterinarian with what was then Pfizer Animal Health, now Zoetis. Richard is one of a team of 6 vets within the Companion Animal Business of Zoetis Australia. Richard has served as the lead technical veterinarian for a range of products within the Zoetis companion animal portfolio over the years, including vaccines, parasiticides, antimicrobials, dermatology, and equine. With the advent of monoclonal technology in animal health being pioneered by Zoetis, Richard is proud to provide an overview of this exciting therapeutic area.
