Sabrina Lepiane

Cert VN ECC

Sabrina was born in Argentina but has been living in Australia for the past 11 years. Before becoming a Veterinary Nurse, she completed a Bachelor’s in English/Spanish Medical and Scientific Translation as she had never worked with animals before. Her routine consisted of teaching English in different companies and translating documents. However, she had always felt there was something missing. It wasn’t until she was doing a Wildlife Rescue Workshop that she heard about vet nurses - there are no veterinary nurses in Argentina. It was then that Sabrina found the perfect opportunity to pursue her passion. She graduated as a Veterinary Nurse in 2016 and started working as an Emergency Veterinary Nurse in Queensland. It did not take long for her to fall in love with the adrenaline and chaos involved in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing. She completed the Elevate Emergency Nursing Program in 2021 and recently completed the Cert VN ECC through Vets Now. In 2023 she will start working towards obtaining her Veterinary Tech Specialty in ECC while working as an ECC Nurse Team Lead at Greencross Veterinary Hospital in Werribee. She also teaches Veterinary Nursing at the Melbourne Polytechnic and has recently been selected to be part of the first Greencross Nurse Advisory Committee. When Sabrina is not working, you can find her at the beach swimming or on a trip chasing Orcas. She has two beautiful cats and a very spoilt Miniature Foxy.
